Vice President, Chief Human Resource Officer
It is a rare opportunity for a Human Resources (HR) executive to come into a well-established organization of more than 30 years and lead 300+ employees through a dynamic transformation, as they realize their "new normal," while holding close to the principles and values that helped them achieve success.
AIDS Resource Center of Wisconsin (ARCW), located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, seeks a dynamic, experienced leader to serve as its inaugural Vice President, Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO). This is a unique opportunity to lead contemporary HR practices in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. ARCW is primed to accelerate growth, and the newly-formed CHRO role will be a key component in growth and integration efforts; working side-by-side with the executive team, the CHRO will create and implement people strategies that are aligned with the mission, vision and values of the organization.
ARCW is a truly integrated model of care and the only HIV Medical Home in America. By receiving medical care, dental care, behavioral health services, case management, pharmacy, access to food, social services and more, all in one location, ARCW patients and clients benefit from improved outcomes, a better experience, lower costs and greater innovation. ARCW's core values of All-In, Alignment, Accountability, Agility and Action, guide and embolden the organization every day in its pursuit of a world without AIDS.
The CHRO role has been created to fulfill the craving the organization has to create strategies to attract, retain, motivate, develop and align top talent in today's competitive labor market. The CHRO will work in collaboration to understand the needs of the organization and will quickly execute on strategies to align and integrate the HR function across the organization. As the employee population is spread geographically, it is important that the new CHRO have a strong grasp of leading HR initiatives in multi-site structures. Additionally, ARCW has a desire to continue to grow, both organically and through merger/acquisition activity. The CHRO will be responsible for creating agility in their team to support integration efforts for the growing organization.
The CHRO will report to President and Chief Executive Officer and will be based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The highly successful candidate will have a combination of post-graduate study and experience in human resources, organizational development, healthcare, administration or related field, with the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) Certification and a minimum of 15 years of experience leading human resources functions. A human resource leader from a multi-site organization that has recently experienced growth via merger activity would be ideal, along with a proven track record of implementing a successful cultural integration process that follows.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a high-level, strategic human resource leader who can build and leverage relationships to execute on action through influence. The CHRO will have an opportunity to evaluate their structure and create the necessary organization that will achieve an exceptionally engaged and highly transparent culture.
