President, Central Division
Charlotte, NC -- Atrium Health seeks a facile, collaborative, and agile healthcare leader to serve as its next President, Central Division. This is a unique opportunity to join one of the most distinguished and respected healthcare institutions in the U.S.
Atrium Health holds a strong position in the marketplace and is routinely recognized for its clinical excellence, financial health and brand strength. At over $9 billion in net patient revenue, it is an integrated health system operating nearly 7,400 licensed beds, employing more than 65,000 people and providing community benefit totaling more than $1.8 billion.
The Central Division for Atrium Health is a significant component of Atrium's core market and is comprised of Carolinas Medical Center, Carolinas Medical Center-Mercy, and Levine Children's Hospital. These three organizations share a combined license of 1,155 beds with all levels of care, research and education offered on all three campuses.
The President will serve as a key member of the Atrium Health senior leadership team and drive change and implement system-focused policies while preserving the innovation and entrepreneurship of the System's mission. Reporting to the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Atrium Health, this executive will bolster the connective tissue between Central Division executive leadership and System executive leadership.
Candidates will be Master's prepared and hold 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in roles of increasing responsibility and influence with recognizably successful and innovative hospital systems in competitive markets. Exposure to an academic/research institution is preferred.
