President, Advocate Sherman Hospital
Reporting to the West Quarter president of Advocate Aurora Health, the president of Advocate Sherman Hospital is accountable for directing all daily patient care operations for the hospital and affiliated outpatient service providers, as well as developing, recommending, and implementing site market and growth strategies, executing operating policies (with support from the regional EVP), and directing subordinate positions in developing and implementing tactical plans to achieve high-quality, cost-effective patient care.
Serving on Advocate Aurora Health’s senior leadership team, the president will work collaboratively with peer hospital presidents and system leaders to share best practices, help design and execute system strategy, and implement plans to optimize system performance, even if these may sub-optimize the operating unit. In addition to being the lead executive at Advocate Sherman Hospital, the president will have the opportunity to serve on system boards, committees, and task forces. Ultimately, the president is an Advocate Aurora Health executive leader charged with ensuring system optimization as well as market and site achievement of business and growth goals as part of the region and system.
