Lead North County Health Services, located in San Diego, California, as the Chief Executive Officer

The Position

  • The Chief Executive Officer will provide visionary leadership to identify, develop and implement strategic initiatives that expand the value of North County Health Services’ (NCHS) contributions to the community it serves
  • This executive will actively network with other affiliate leaders at the State and local levels, to significantly cultivate and enhance new and ongoing relationships, and explore opportunities of mutual benefit and common interest, with all stakeholders involved
  • The Chief Executive Officer will ensure that all new and ongoing program objectives are aligned with the mission and strategic initiatives, as defined by the Board, and that an effective performance monitoring and evaluation system is in place
  • The Chief Executive Officer will assure fiscal operations are managed in a way that protects its assets, supports the strategic objectives, encourages efficiency and assures compliance with all relevant governance and regulatory requirements

The Requirements

  • A Master’s degree in public health administration, business, public administration, or equivalent
  • A minimum of 15 years’ health administration or management experience at an executive level
  • California FQHC experience would be preferred, but is not required

  • With 19 locations throughout North County, NCHS averages approximately 65,000 patient visits annually
  • NCHS has achieved the highest level Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) recognition from the NCQA for all primary care health centers
