Job Description Orange Regional Medical Center has retained Witt/Kieffer to assist in the recruitment of a Vice President, Outpatient Services. The Vice President, Outpatient Services will report directly to Orange Regional Medical Center’s Chief Operating Officer and will have operational responsibility for business development, quality, management and supervision of Orange Regional Medical Center’s ambulatory facilities. This is an outstanding opportunity for a talented hospital executive, experienced in project development and new clinical program development.

Orange Regional Medical Center, a not-for-profit organization formed by the merger of Arden Hill Hospital and Horton Medical Center, provides 450 beds and employs over 2,500 healthcare professionals. In March 2008, Orange Regional Medical Center broke ground on building a single campus hospital. There are over 550 doctors with privileges at the hospital who treat thousands of area families, friends and neighbors. In addition to two main hospital campuses, Orange Regional has 9 outpatient locations. The largest outpatient facility, the Orange Regional Medical Pavilion in the Town of Wallkill, offers both outpatient surgical and diagnostic services and private physician offices.

Both institutions have a long and distinguished history of service to their respective communities. Both have committed resources and talent to building a strong future and providing high quality services and programs.

Since the merger in 2002, Orange Regional has added services that were previously unavailable to the community, such as Orange County's first Diagnostic Cardiac Catherization Lab and Emergency Angioplasty. Affiliated with Montefiore Medical Center, The Peter Frommer, M.D. Heart Center also offers cardiology services including electrophysiology (EP) and implantable electronic defibrillators. Orange Regional offers a wide range of outpatient diagnostic services that include, but are not limited to, digital mammography, PET Scan, Ultrafast 64-slice CT and Short Boar MRI. ORMC’s Comprehensive Cancer Care program offers Radiation Oncology as part of advanced cancer care services. Orange Regional also has opened an Orthopedic Bone and Joint Center affiliated with New York University/Hospital for Joint Diseases.
Qualifications This is an outstanding opportunity for an individual experienced in the management of ambulatory care/outpatient care facilities. We seek a strong leader with excellent financial and strategy skills. A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance is preferred, as well as a Master’s Degree in Business or the equivalent.
