In this role, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and controlling the daily operations of the Patient Registration department on a 24-hour basis. Acting in conjunction with other Department Managers/Directors, you will insure appropriate and effective patient flow and services throughout the hospital. You will also define and implement the best practices and continuous improvement initiatives related to patient access and hospital revenue cycle performance; and be responsible for compiling and measuring patient access performance, and for setting and tracking performance improvement goals as well as facilitating short and long-term performance improvement initiatives. |

| Qualifications |
You must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare administration or related discipline (Master’s preferred) and 6+ years of progressive management experience in an admitting/health care setting with proficiency in customer service and revenue cycle operations. Thorough knowledge of Hospital registration procedures and practices, including HIPAA and applicable regulatory requirements required, as is experience with multiple registration information systems, preferably with McKesson applications. Certified Healthcare Access Manager (CHAM) preferred. |
