Witt/Kieffer has been retained by Alegent Health in Omaha, Nebraska to assist in the recruitment a new System Vice President/ Chief Nursing Officer. This is an exciting new position wherein the new CNO will be creating the role from inception.
Alegent Health is a not-for Profit, integrated delivery system comprised of 8 acute care hospitals (1442 beds), one long term care facility and a primary care physician network of more than 40 sites. They operate profitably with annual gross revenues of approximately $1.9 billion and $880 million of net patient revenue. Among the initiatives for the new CNO will be designing and implementing programs that addresses quality, consistency, recruitment and retention, magnet designation (one hospital is already achieved magnet status) and increase the voice and stature of nursing within Alegent Health and the communities they serve.
This person will be an innovative, successful leader who has strategic and operational skills in a multi-site delivery system known for its excellence in quality and consistency of service. An RN, with an accredited master’s degree is required as is solid business acumen including profit and loss experience and effective leadership in a strong matrix environment.
